  • Multi-page scrolling for JRViewer

    Assigned User teodord
    CategoryFeature request

    Referring to http://www.jasperforge.org/index.php?option=com_joomlaboard&Itemid=215&func=view&catid=8&id=41233#41233

JRViewer can currently only display one page at a time. When one scrolls to the bottom of the page it does not go to the next page, instead one needs to go back up again and use the page navigation buttons and click on the page buttons in order to get to the next page.

It would be nicec if the srcoll mimics that of Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to get a more fluent flow.

CBox posted code and how this can be achieved. Thanks CBox. Please refer to the post on jasper forum:

    "JRViewer scroll over pages"

    Thank you.

i added this feature to the JRViewer class (in the net.sf.jasperreports.view package) according to CBox's proposal. This is my first contribution to this project, so please be indulgent to me and my solution. I will also be thankful for corrections and other hints.

I have attached my solution because i didn't want to "break" the repository.

    Best regards,

We are not going to enhance the Swing viewer as Swing itself is no longer evolving. We are more likely to create a JavaFX report viewer instead.
