  • Using a Domain datasource in iReports

    I created a simple Domain and a simple iReport based on the Domain. The Report Query is automatically created but when I try to Preview, I get "invalid SQL statement". I don't believe it should be defaulting to SQL as the Report Query language says "domain". I don't know how to correct for this error message.

    iReport does not provide any datasource to run locally a domain based report, you need to run your report from the repository view.

     

    We anyway plan to have this such of data source in the future.

     

    For now, to avoid problem with missing domain language query executer, iReport consider the domain language the same as sql, so JasperReports does not complain about not understand the language "domain".
