How to create a JasperServer report using the Java API Rest from an existing .jrxml file?

0

Hello,

I have a severe number of reports (.jrxml), and some of them need a datasource and images as InputStreams or Patterns as DecimalFormat, I want to fill and show the .jrxml as HTML, like the "view report flow"

in a nutshell, I want to show the .jasper as the Customer Orders Report in the report view of jasperServer,

where the user can sort the column or choice if a column is hidden or not and then export to .xlsx, .docx, etc... how I can do this using the Java REST API?

Unfortunately no. REST API just generates static report. If you want dynamic report, you can use Visualize.js supported in the commercial version

OR

write your own server program using JavaScript to do dynamic features.
