[Jasper CP 6.1.1 + Oracle + Tomcat 7] Cant start jasperserver

Hi ppl,

/home/tomcat/jasperserver/jasperreports-server-cp-6.1.1-bin/buildomatic/bin/app-server.xml:472: The following error occurred while executing this line:

/home/tomcat/jasperserver/jasperreports-server-cp-6.1.1-bin/buildomatic/bin/app-server.xml:337: The following error occurred while executing this line:

/home/tomcat/jasperserver/jasperreports-server-cp-6.1.1-bin/buildomatic/bin/setup.xml:110: Property quartz.tablePrefix was circularly defined.

 

Please help... i don't understand where the error is coming from...

I think it's because community version does not support Oracle as a repository database. Use either MySQL or PostgreSQL.

I already solved the previous problema now i get this.....

 

SEVERE: Exception starting Context with name [/jasperserver]

org.apache.catalina.LifecycleException: Failed to start component [standardEngine[Catalina].StandardHost[dev-dbproxy].StandardContext[/jasperserver]]

 

 

where is that LifecycleException param in tomcat?

You need to purchase Commercial version of JasperReports Server if you need to use Oracle as a repository.

Can you please explain the main difference between Jasper Reports Libary and Jasper Reports Server please....
