Hi Jaspersoft Community, I have a question regarding how to create custom JR DataSource that is backed by REST API to be consumed in generating reports.
What I am trying to do is to demonstrate that you could use Jaspersoft AWS solution and create a custom data source that is bcked by a REST API that would return some statistics and report on them without having to have a DB in between, is that possible? If not, what solutions would you recommend for using Jasper reports to generate off a JSON data returned by REST API.
Any help or recommendations on this would be hugely appreciated.
