HTTPS connection between mobile app and jasperreports server

Hello,

I'm wondering whether the official mobile app for android communicates to the REST-API of the report server via HTTP, hence unencrypted?

We'd like to use the app but as the server stores customer informations all traffic from the server to the end-device would've to be encrypted.

Is there a way to achieve this or does the app use HTTPS already?

it depend on your connection endpoint which you are using in mobile, if it`s HTTPS://somehost... then it`s encrypted if it`s HTTP:// then it`s unencrypted

P.S. to support HTTPS connection to server - you need to setup HTTPS on your Application server.
