Filters are updating with new values

I am new to Jaspersoft, I have created new report with Filter "Name". suppose if we add new name in the application , it is listing in the filter, but it is not selected by default.

Everytime End user need to select the new name in the filter, then only it is reflecting in report. Please help me to overcome this issue.
