Chart display configuration

hi all,

I am struggling to find the right place in configuration that drives following behaviour:

A) Grouping data points by date despite having multiple points that day for various hour timestamps - how do I show it ungrouped

B)If grouping cannot be disabled how do I make the chart to display single grouped data point visible as a square/dot if no more points are available in the data source therefore line cannot be drawn and the chart is completely blank
