I am trying to get diacritical characters like Ǻǻç.Ǿǿ displayed on a Jaspersoft PDF report. Jaspersoft Studio uses the Verdana font, which has these characters, and so they display correctly in Word. They also look fine in a Word-generated PDF file. However, when I try to make a PDF using Jaspersoft Studio, the diacritic signs do not display properly but get replaced by different symbols, or disappear altogether.
