I'm not sure anyone will even want to attempt to answer my question because I'm not even sure I know how to ask it. 
We built a crosstab report that breaks out a [Document Type] per [Issuing Organization] and then totals those different [Document Types]. We added a date field as a measure thinking that when the report was published, the user could filter by their own date requirements but that is not the case. We can't build it on the front end using relative dates because apparently each user that runs the published (created) report will have different date range requirements.
My question is, if we enabled input controls, (currently they are disabled) would that get me to the end result of allowing users to apply date range parameters in the crosstab report?
