Oracle 8i Data Source with JasperReports Server Community Edition 6.0.1

Hello,

Can I use Oracle 8i as a data source for the latest version of JapserReports (v6.0.1 today)?

Yes - with the appropriate JDBC driver installed.

Oracle 8i is not included in the "support databases" in Supported Platform Datasheet. There's also a jdbc version requirement in page 7 "JDBC/SQL Support Note". I think Oracle 8i jdbc is jdbc 2.0 compliant and not 2.1
