Ireport Excel BigDecimal roundup by itself

i have been working on the subtotal column, using BigDecimal for variable, to sum total amount, reset type by report,

the problem with this column is when the amount has few cents, the subtotal column will round up to no decimal, even i have apply the text field pattern of #,##0.00. the value after decimal will remain 0.

been working on this for almost 2 weeks, and still can't see what seems to be the problem. i have tried changing text field into string, applying java.text.DecimalFormat. Round up with 2 decimal in SQL query. nothing seems to be working. However, with the same SQL structure in PDF preview it worked.
