Problem Setting Permissions, Execute Only/read only

Hi all,

I've been trying to follow what's posted here: http://community.jaspersoft.com/questions/824274/show-only-reports-and-d...

but it doesn't seem to work for me. When I make a folder Execute Only for a specific role and log in as that user the folder I've changed that for (and clicked apply/okay for) still shows up in the repository for that user.

Do I have to make a change to the permissions on the default user? It seems like it should be very simple to make this kind of 'view' account with no access to adhoc creation or folders. I just want one neat Reports folder for our client's end users to access.
