How do I add empty row in dynamic jasper ?

Hi Folks,

I have been working on dynamic jasper to generate complex reports for my system. I faced some issues, so I wonder if some intelligent people here can help me.
1. I cannot add empty row. (Tried footer, empty subreport, and blank column)
2. I want to add two tables(Subreport) in 1 row. any way to do it ?
3. Can i show report like Label in left and data in right. i have 4 columns, i want to show in two rows. (Its an information pane)

Pls feel free to ask for any clarification. I can share my code.
