Cannot set default parameters for datasets and sub reports

Hi there,

I'm using Jaspersoft Studio with XML datasources - works quite well.

But i found one nasty thing: I often have to use Lists, Chart, Sub Reports etc. and i'd like to pass the XML_DATA_DOCUMENT to the datasets or sub reports. This worked well in iReport and i can manually (with "Source") add the datasetParameter tag in the jrxml, the report compiles and run successfully. But i cannot pass this parameter with the parameter GUI of Jaspersoft Studio because the list box to select the parameter does NOT include the default parameters (like XML_DATA_DOCUMENT) - only user parameter are listed...

Am i doing something wrong or this a limitaion of JSS?
