Figuring out whether Apache Tomcat is already installed locally

Hi all,

   I am interested in experimenting with Jaspersoft Studio, and I am currently trying to install the Jaspersoft Server locally.  From reading the installation manual, I am aware that there are options where the users can choose to install specific components of the server.  I would like to know specifically how I would go about knowing whether Apache Tomcat has already been installed in the local machine, so that I could decide on whether to installed the bundled Tomcat or not. Thank you in advance.

Tomcat is part of the Bundled Installer.   If you want to use your own, you have to work from the War file.  I would suggest that you use the installer.
