[JasperReports Server] Drop-down menu when executing a report

Dear All,

I use JasperReport Server Community Edition.

I have a MySQL database with a table Project containing a large number of all lines corresponding to a different project.

I would like that every line of my table Project are automatically feed a dropdown menu to filter on a specific project to display only this selected project in my report.

In iReport, I have successfully set up a drop-down menu. For the moment, I did some tests and I have to manually put the title of the project in the pop-up (in iReport).

I tried to execute this test report the server that my end users use. During the execution of the report on my server I do not have a pop-up offering me to enter the name of my project when I have a pop-up when previewing in iReport.

Is this a limitation of the Community Edition or is it just a programming problem of my report ?

Perhaps I misspoke? My request is not clear enough? Please guys a little clarification.
