start/stop jasper server on windows using command line.

In windows use the below command:

Go to the command prompt (start-> type "cmd" in serach box -> click on cmd.exe from the appeared list)

C:Program Filesjasperreports-server-5.0apache-tomcatbin>startup.bat

NOTE:
If you have administrator privileges for your windows machine provide the password for opening command prompt

In Linux machine:
root@dev-server:/opt/jasperreports-server-cp-5.0.0/apache-tomcat/bin# ./startup.sh

NOTE: do this with sudo permission.
