Is it possible to force Jasper reports to include the file name extension in the images of HTML reports?

Hi, we are having problems when having an apache reverse proxy in front of our server. Because the images in HTML reports have no file extension, the proxy delivers the files as content type text/plain. The proxy sets the content type based on the file extension. When the file has no extension, the default content type is used. This seems to be confusing for some browsers like FF and IE. The firefox has a random behaivour in this setup, it doesn't always show the images. A solution based on a proper proxy configuration is not a choice for us, because we have different images formats in our reports

Is there any possiblity to change this behaivour of Jasper reports concerning the name of the images? We wish to have the images with their file name extensions.

Best regards.
