I figured out how to take a report generated from an Ad Hoc View, modify it in iReport Designer and upload it back up to the server repository. What I need to know now is how to break the connection between the two so I can delete the View, which I don't need anymore. OR ... some other way of accomplishing the same thing .....
Give me a method and I'll create a Wiki page for it.....

That's a good question! If you rename the report when you save it in iReport, does that break the connection?
If that works, you'll still have to delete all dependent reports - including the one you used to create the new report in iReport - before you can delete the Ad Hoc view.
