Is it possible to edit Jasper Server's web services?

Hello,

i am new to web services, and i wanted to ask if it is possible to edit jasper server's management web service which works with reports?(I mean that one with get, put, run, list, runReport...).If yes, how?

I am trying to integrate this web service into the Team Developer 6.1 and when sending XML to it , it sends to web service some kind of code instead of symbols like "<" 

So i need to convert these codes to the symbols back, then launch the WS function. Any suggestions?
