List & Cross Tab Element

Does anyone know if it is possible to use a Cross Tab element within a List element in ireport?

I am a newcomer to jasper and have used Microsoft Reporting Services previously. I am trying to replicate a matrix report in reporting services, where a seperate cross tab table is presented for each value of the parameters selected. eg a table for each customer, with each table on a seperate page.

This is very easy to do in SSRS by using the list element, but I cant work out how to use the list element properly in Jasper Ireport - Where for example do you determine how the table iterates, eg in my example, where do you specify that there needs to be a seperate cross tab table per customer.
