jasperserver 5 time series expansion

When I create an adhoc view with v5 of jasper server and one of the fields is a date field, I have been unable to find a way to create a time series graph which allows drilling down to see e.g. number of events per day. It seems Jasperserver always uses Q1,Q2,Q3,Q4 as the x-axis labels when I use the date field as a row value. The Data Level container on the right of the screen shows that the Rows data is fully extended.

Is there a way to get the row data to expand to show values for individual dates?

1 Answer:

If you are talking about the dimmensional zoom feature, the way it works is that you add a field that represents each grouping in the order of their hierarchy - so you would have a field for Year, Quarter, Month, Week, Day...then, by moving the slider, the chart would change to show data grouped by year all the way down to day.

Hi mgeise,

Is there any way I can further see the details for example Day, Hour, Minute? I didn't see this option on the server.
