JasperServer custom data source with QueryExecuter

Hi 

Can anyone please expain or point me to some documentation where I can use both Custom data source and query executor togather? I want to create a custom data source that will take parameters as username/password/auth token and later on I should be able to use this data source across the reports while modifying the queries for different reports. I think the sample examples for custom data sources only talks about either datasource or queryexecutor ( webscrapper example) but not both.
