Hey marianol thanks for your answer,
but i want not develop my own Application, i wont only use the Mobile BI Tool on a Tablet. And i had seen on the Mobile-BI Video (http://www.jaspersoft.com/mobile-bi), that the User use the Webapplication (host:<port>/jasperserver) to use BI on Mobile. Is this Webapplication the full Mobil BI Application (for Community Version) ?
I hope you understand me.
I will assume that you talk about the diference between the JasperMobile for Android App ( http://community.jaspersoft.com/project/jaspermobile-android ) and the JasperMobile Android SDK ( http://community.jaspersoft.com/project/mobile-sdk-android ).
The JasperMobile for Android App ( http://community.jaspersoft.com/project/jaspermobile-android ) is a nativie androd application, available in Google Play, that allows you to connect to your Jasper Report Server, browse the repository, run reports, etc.
The JasperMobile Android SDK ( http://community.jaspersoft.com/project/mobile-sdk-android ) is a full software development kit. This set of classes and UI components is designed to easily connect and consume the services provided by JasperReports Server using the REST API.
It allows YOU to develop your own Jasper Server enabled Android Application, as a sample of its use it includes the same JasperMobile for Android App that you can download from Google Play
Ah! now I get it. Yes the standard web application (Jasperserver 4.7 CE) is mobile enabled. Install JasperServer in your environment and give it a reachable IP and just point your Tablet browser to your Jasperserver URL and you are good to go, no need to install anything in the tablet.
Hello sir,
I've already installed and configured the Android-SDK with Eclipse and I want to create the JasperMobile application for android that is similar to Jasper Mobile app in Google Play from " jaspersoft-mobile-sdk-android-1.4.1-src_0.zip". I've downloaded Jasper SDK from http://community.jaspersoft.com/project/mobile-sdk-android/releases
But I don't know how to create it. Can you help me please?
Documents step by step on how to create it will be helpful.
Thanks in advance.
