band is drawn on 2 pages

 Hi,

I'm new to JasperReports. So I used the forumsearch, but didn't know exactly what to look for.

So I hope, someone understands my problem and is able to help.

I have a report with various pages. There is a band (I set splitType to Immediate) which is too big to fit on the page where it begins. I would expect, that the first part of that band is printed on the first page and the rest on the following page. Now it happens, that the first page is correctly printed, but on the following page the band is again completely printed, so I have the first part twice.

Does anyone know what the problem might be??
