Error executing report

Hi,

 

I am using SOAP webservices to load reports through PHP. The setup is as follows:

 

CENTOS 6.3 32-bit

Apache 2.2.15

PHP 5.3.3

MySQL 5.1

Tomcat 6

JDK 1.6.0_33

JasperReports Server CP 4.5.0

 

I came across many issues that I fixed along the way including missing MySQL connector and MS fonts package.

Using the PHP sample in Jasper Server's examples I am able to list all reports. However when I try to export / run the report in any format I get an error "Error executing the report" followed by no explanation about the error or its cause.

I have checked Tomcat logs (catalina.out) as well as Jasper Server logs (jasperserver.log) but there is no mention of any error related to the "runReport" SOAP call.

Has anybody encountered a similar problem? Is there any help on this issue?
