Oracle JDBC drivers for iReport Designer

2

 Hello everyone,

I'm trying to install the Oracle drivers to connect iReport Designer to an Oracle DB. I'm following this guide:
http://jasperforge.org/plugins/mwiki/index.php/Jasperserver/DataSources#Copy_the_Driver_to_the_Classpath

but with no results. I downloaded the drivers and i made a copy of them in the suggested folder but still, when I try to connect the software to the database, this exception occurs:

ClassNotFoundError!

Msg: oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver

Possible not found class: oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver

...

Can anyone help me?

Thank You

Massimiliano

Follow this tutorial, not the one suggested by jasperforge:

show 1 more...

"Menu: Tools/Options/ClassPath - add jdbcXYZ.jar" is not working for me on windows 10 pro 64bit. it worked on another Windows 7 64bit.

I have used the same installer and the same odbc7.jar file in both cases.

how can I say it? by connect iReport i mean to create a connection between iReport and my database... sorry I'm not skilled enough in english to say it in a better way.

Anyway I posted the other guide I found where there are written the right folders in wich you have to copy the drivers to solve the problem. Now it's working thanks.
