I am a brand new iReport user and beginning with release 3.7.4. When trying to use the Report Query I am running into the following problems:
1) When using the Filter Expression I can only enter one condition. For example I want to filter on two different fields such as district_code=xxx and grade_level=yy. I can actually enter both of these conditions but the XML that is generated produces errors.
2) When I create a new Filter Expression or Sort Option, neither of them show in the top display window. To see what I have set I either need to go back into these options or look in the XML.
3) I am accessing an Oracle database with very long field names. When using the Query Designer it cuts off the field names requiring me to rename most of the fields.
Item 1) is the most serious and a real stumbling block for me.
