How to set Header/Footer in Jasper Report?

Hi Team,

I used iReport to design a template & exported the report to excel.When I take the print out of the report which had columns spreading across multiple pages the Page Header/Footer breaks into multiple pages.

For eg:

If I had columns like

Name Age Sex Column 4 Column5 .......Column 100(Title)

Page Header

Data(Detail)

Page Footer

The first 10 columns come in the first sheet,next 8 column in second page and so on.

Similarly the page header, for eg: "This report is very secure on and is inteded to view only by persons with secure acess ..blah blah etcccccc".

When I took print out  "This report is very secure on and is inteded " comes in first page the remaining on second page like that.

But I need some mechanism to fit the Page header/footer so that it comes on every page in the report.

 In MS Excel when we select the View Tab ->Page Layout , it will display how the generated excel report will be breaked up into pages.

It will dispaly a section called "Click to add Header" & "Click to add footer".

When we click over there we can  manually type the header/footer.Does Jasper Report has the capability to add  Header & Footer in the section mentioned above.?
