carlushenry
Hello everyone,After spending a little bit of time on the forums, I have decided that it would be best to start a new thread on this topic. I have a situation where I would like to print out labels. The labels are pretty complicated. In our environment, there are times that we would like to print labels in one, two, or even three columns depending on the printer. I decided to use a SubReport in order to accomplish this.Everything works well, when the print order is vertical. It is desired instead, that the printer order be horizontal. When I change the print order, I immediately get:Subreport overflowed on a band that does not support overflow. Many of the forum entries I have seen suggest changing the print order to vertical in order to resolve this issue. However, our requirement is that the print order actually be horizontal. For additional information: The subreport is inside of the detail band on the Master Report The master report works fine when the print order is verticalIf there is any additional information that I can provide, please let me know. Any help would be appreciated.
carlushenry
This may be a hack, but the way that we worked around this issue was to specify the page size to be equal to the size of one row. That way, it appears as though we are filling horizontally, but actually, we are filling vertically.
balibalo
Hi,I have exactly the same problem with the same error message. And if the error doesn't occur (i.e. if space is great enough), the objects are positioned vertically. I read an older message (2004-2005) on this forum where it was written the functionality wasn't implemented yet... I wonder if it is implemented now...
