Log Level

Hii,

How to set log level and how to debug the report.

I saw a file "log4j" in directory:

\jasperserver-pro-3.0\apache-tomcat\webapps\jasperserver-pro\WEB-INF

In this file the follwing statement is given:

### set log levels - for more verbose logging change 'info' to 'debug' ###

but i m not able to find out how to set it.

One jasperserver file is available but it is maintaing
the log of jasperserver.

So how to debug for queries.

Thanx

2 Answers:

the log4j.properties in:

jasperserver-pro-3.0/apache-tomcat/webapps/jasperserver-pro/WEB-INF

is the right file to modify.

If you change:

log4j.rootLogger=WARN, stdout, fileout

To:

log4j.rootLogger=debug, stdout, fileout

you should get lot's of debugging info.

If add an individual logger line for a particular class path like:

log4j.logger.com.jaspersoft.jasperserver=debug

you will get logging on all classes under this class.

Hii,

Thanx for the reply.Its now working fine.

I want that the query log should generate not the detailed execution plan of each step.

Is there any way to get only query log.

Thanx
