Alignment on different printers

I have a very simple report that prints labels on a 4 x 20 sheet of labels. The labels line up perfectly on the test printer. When I try other printers (lexmark, ibm, hp), they all print differently. It's not just the left starting point that is different, even the column spacing is different.

 

I don't want to have to define a version of the report for every possible printer that can be used. Is there a way to force the alignment regardless of the printer being used? I was thinking it may have to do with the printers resolution but I haven't found how to account for that.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
