unzipping install file JasperETL-All-r7991-V2.2.4

Hi,

I have just downloaded the file JasperETL-All-r7991-V2.2.4,

does anyone know why unzip is asking for a password to unzip the file ?

I had a look to the documentation but I didn't find anything regarding password issues during install

Can someone help me please ?

Hi,

I can confirm that the .zip file is not password protected. I'm not sure what could cause it to prompt you.

I've heard unfavorable reports of Windows' built-in unzipping abilities of this file. I use 7zip. I recommend that you try 7zip or WinRAR and see if that works better.

Hi Matt

you were right, the problem was the windows built-in unzipping package.
Using Winrar or Winzip there is no problem
