JasperETL 2.1.1 and Ingres 2006

Hello,

 

I installed JasperETL 2.1.1 to use it with a Ingres 2006 9.2.0 database.

 

For this reason i copied the JDBC driver into the corresponding driver directory. Then i started the Jasper ETL application, created a new project and add there a new database connection. For the database connection i selected Ingres as database type and set the connection.

 

The test of the connection results in the error message "Communication protocol error". Testing the same with a Ingres 2006 9.0.4 database results in a successful connection.

 

Any hints how i can get JasperETL running with the version 9.2.0 of Ingres 2006? Thanx for your help!

In the meantime i have solved the problem with the Ingres database connection

for Ingres 2006 9.2.0.

The replacement of the JDBC driver is necessary not only for the folder

 

JasperETL-Win32-r4583-V2.1.1libjava

 

but also for the configuration and plugin component folders

 

JasperETL-Win32-r4583-V2.1.1configurationorg.eclipse.osgibundles1831.cp

JasperETL-Win32-r4583-V2.1.1pluginsorg.talend.designer.components.localprovider_2.1.1.r4583componentstIngresInput

 

Then the database connection works fine.
