I am using jasper server for last of couple of weeks.
Would like to know if it is possible to run/test(to make sure its working) an input control (Single-Select Query) individually ? Without adding to a report ?
I have jasper server plugin also. :)

I don't think there is a way to do this, but in my mind it's a completely valid use case - you might want to test input controls upon creation, just as you can test a new connection when you create it.
Can you please visit the tracker and log an enhancement? Here's the URL:
