test.guillaume
hi, I'm testing JasperETL and I found (maybe) a odd bug/problem. I have 3 .xls files in entry and I want to obtain one .xls file with a concatenation and selection. http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/4976/pb1tl6.th.jpghttp://img241.imageshack.us/img241/6731/pb2jn8.th.jpg As you can see on these pictures. I have 464 rows then 494 rows. between the 2, I don't do anything (only push "Run") Data in my 3 xls files haven't change. On the last picture, you can see the treatment that I do.http://img412.imageshack.us/img412/1139/pb3vd4.th.jpg I can send you the 3 files, if you want. I thank you for your futures answers and I apologize for my bad frenchy speaking Guillaume Post edited by: test.guillaume, at: 2007/02/20 14:08 Post edited by: test.guillaume, at: 2007/02/20 14:09 Post edited by: test.guillaume, at: 2007/02/20 14:11Post edited by: test.guillaume, at: 2007/02/20 14:
ccarbone
Hi, If i understand your problem, 1/you don't change your 3 input files2/you launch 2 times your job3/the number of row (displayed thanks statistic mode) on one of your output file changes at each launch! It's a very strange problem! To be sure is not a problem with statistics mode : can you check the number of lines of the output file (to see if the statistics mode displays the good number of line) However, I think this problem should be linked to the bug 467 ( http://talendforge.org/bugs/view.php?id=467 ) "tMap output branches execution order is unpredictable". But this bug is ressolved and the correction is included on your JasperETL 1.1.1!!! Can you send me [ccarbone( at )talend.com] your workspaceand your 3 input files? ______Thank you for your support!Cedric CarboneTalend CTOPost edited by: ccarbone, at: 2007/02/22 07:

ccarbone
test.guillaume wrote:I send you all. Hi Guillaume, I received your email with your Job.The problem is on the setting in the input file component (tFileInputDelimited_2), you checked Extract a random number of lines option ! (see the attach screenshot)So, there is no bug ;) Uncheck this option and our file out will be ever the same between each launch. Futhermore, on your input file, you have to perform a transformation to change your actual decimal separator (coma) by a point (I can see 15,567 instead of 15.567) ______Thank you for your support!Cedric CarboneTalend CTO [file name=tos.jpg size=57452]http://www.jasperforge.org/components/com_joomlaboard/uploaded/files/tos.jpg[/file]Post edited by: ccarbone, at: 2007/02/22 14:
