Area graph and transparency

We created a chart graph with the area graph. When we export the jasper report to jasper viewer or to html we have transparency between the two drawn areas. But if we export to pdf format there are no transparency ! :unsure:

 

Do anybody has yet met this trouble and solve it ?

Hi All !

 

I looked for why I did not get transparency in my area graph when I export it to pdf file.

 

I attempted the demo of JfreeChart. I exported an area graph sample to pdf and I got the transparency. When I looked what was the pdf library used for the generation I observed itext 1.4.6. So I replaced my itext-1.3.1.jar by the last iText (itext-1.4.8.jar - http://www.lowagie.com/iText/download.html

) library and I get the transparency. :cheer:

 

I hope JasperReports goes to integrate this new version of iText library to get a better support for pdf file.
