calling another report using hyperlink

Dear Friends,

 

I'm using iReport0.5.2 in one application.I want call one repor uasing the hyper link in the detail part of the another report. For exaple

in one report I used show the list of employees.

What I need is if we click on the particular employee,then using the hyperlink I want to show that particular employee's details in the new report.

 

If anyone know how to do this,pls help me.....

What type of report that you want to call? (pdf, xls, jrviewer)

 

If you want to call a hyperlink from pdf report to another pdf report, simply add an expression in textfield. Double click texfield box -> hyperlink tab. Choose hyperlink type 'Reference'

and then type the url/path for your target reports.

 

I donno how to call another report from main report if a report is in jrviewer format. =P

I need to call the report in jrviewer.
