The long waited release of v 1.0.0 arrived but no instructions what so ever found anywhere.

 

1. How to install? - I tried using the WAR but didn't work

2. User guide or any documentation - missing

I've been thru the docs you mention before, and that's the reason of the post. Here's the specific line that brings the trouble:

 

3.4 Getting the Installer Binary

 

The BitRock installer is available for download from the JasperIntelligence site within Source Forge.

 

http://jasperintel.sourceforge.net (downloads page)

 

Download the installer to your machine’s local hard drive.

 

To begin the installation, double-click (execute) the bitrock installer binary file.

 

 

3.5 Stepping Through the Installation Screens

Actually there's no BitRock Installer hence no installation possible with those rules.

 

I'll be expecting those installers! Thanks for the promptly reply.

There is some docs in the docs directory in the distribution. The user guide is enhanced.

 

We have been doing some more testing and will get a revised WAR and install/admin doc out there today. The installers will be today or tomorrow.

Can you confirm that the installers are still not available. I just looked for them with no luck.

Yes, unfortunately we are still working on them. Close, but not yet.

The Linux installer came out on Wednesday and the Windows installer was out on Friday night.

Have anyone make JasperIntelligence work? I've tried following the guide step by step of the improved instructions (1.0.1) but still the service is not working( error in Tomcat). I did expected 1.0.0 to be installer based like the previous releases (i.e. 0.9.0 & 0.9.2)

 

I think I'll just wait for the installers...
