HTML lines display OK but doesn't print !

Hello. I know of the problem of lines displaying correctly when exporting to pdf , but not in html, and the trick of changing lines with dummy blocks of text with black background.
But my problem is slightly different. My html lines are correctly shown ( either with lines or text blocks ), but when printing the report, the lines/text blocks dissapear !
Is this a jasper error or it is navigator related ?
I've searched the forum but found nothing like this.
Some ideas ?
