making a Pie Chart from a hashMap

I would like to make a Pie Chart but instead of setting the key and value expressions to variables that change with each record, I want to rather use summary data since the information I'm reporting on doesn't change per a group.

 

I have tried tried putting the information in a hashMap

similar to:

"Positive results" -> x

"Negative results" -> y

but don't know how to refer to this HashMap in the Key Expression box for the chart.

 

Has anybody got any suggestions? Maybe another way to make charts on summary data?

split sub-report

I have a report where the sub-report is larger than the available space on the page. Despite having ticked split allowed on both the sub-report bans and the detail band on the main report where the sub-report is placed I still get the message 'infinite loop creating new page'. Why won't the sub report split? The field that is causing the problem is within the column header of the sub-report.
