Does the JasperViewer offer a choice to navigate whithin the displayed report using navigation keys (up, down, page up, page down)?

 

Till now I was able to scroll using only the mouse.

 

Is there a setting or something??

OK..so am I asking something wrong here(there is such a feature and I haven't discoved it yet)???

 

There is nobody who thought that it should be nice to have a keyboard-like scroll feature whithin the viewer??

Just build your own PreViewer and implement a key-listener that scrolls the way you imagine! :-)

 

I implented for example a Scrolllistener for a WheelMouse so that the page scrolls down and jumps right to the next page (if there is one) to the top.... and if scrolling up via the mousewheel till to the very top of the page then the previous page is displayed from bottom up again! :-) So the report could be read "fluently".

 

Perhaps I should post that code as a patch or something... but I haven't read any post where such a feature was asked. If I find time to add the key-listener I could post it together.

A second thought.......If you could find the time to add such a path or sample it would help me a lot..

 

Just a simple example to see how to manage Viewer pages and so...
