How to let the half page blank?

My report is for patients.

Then one patient's infomation needs one and a half of page to showing. So there are another half,i want to let it blank ,but in fact the next patient's infomatin is showing in the half page.

how solve?

You can add a group with the patient key as expression, something like ${PATIENT_ID}, In this way you have a group per patient, then check the flag "start on a new page" of the group.

The group heander and footer bands can be zero hieght.

 

Let me know if the trick works.

you are right!

just follow what your sugguestion:
