Hello,

 

i have seen, that iRport don't support the JasperReport-tag <elementGroup>.

Is there any other way to get this functionality with iReport ?

It´s very important for me, because the stretchType="RelativeToTallestObject" does´nt work like i want without this tag.

UnfortunatelyiReport don't handle xml source in a incremental manner. So if you load an XML that contains an elementGroup, and save the report, you'll lost your elementGroup tags (not elements contained in it).

 

There is no way to handle elementGroup in iReport.

There is a possibility that I'll introduce this feature in iReport2, but this eventuality is not soon :-)
