2005 IR Help
By: aviator501 - aviator501 Paragraph Formatting 2004-11-03 23:00 Dear authors and Jasper Reports experts. Please help me with paragraph formatting in jasper reports. I'm working on an Police Blotter program that needs to generate formatted reports (police report) in paragraph form, aside from the conventional statistical/columnar reports format. The report I'm to generate consists of a narrative(memo field) that needs to be paragraph formatted. For example, I have separate paragraphs which contents came from respective separate narrative/memo fields. How do I handle this? If for example, if on the first paragraph: <textfield isStretchWithOverflow="true"> <reportElement : : width=200 height=200> and the contents of this paragraph/textfield overflows, how do I adjust the x value of the next texfield/paragraph? Thank you guys! By: Gregory A. Swarthout - gswarthout RE: Paragraph Formatting 2004-11-04 08:08 The width is never stretchable, only the height.
