I can't seem to figure out how to position reportElements in a report to the right edge of the page.

 

The reason being, I have an image at the head of a page and it should be right justified. Sometimes the page is letter sized, sometimes landscape. Currently it is absolutely positioned appropriately for the letter sized page, however if the page becomes landscape, then it is no longer aligned with the right side of the page.

 

Can this be done by determining the page width at runtime?

Well, I found one way of doing it.

I set a key on the reportElement and then in my code that sets up the report, when it realizes that the report will be landscape, it grabs the reportElement by key and resets its X value accordingly.

 

If anyone has any design-time solutions, I would much prefer that, as this makes design maintenance in two spots, the java code and the xml.
