Barecode text is masked

Hi,
I using JasperReport/iReport 1.2.3 to generate barcodes. It works fine when I preview it under Windows/iReport but text is masked when I run the report under Linux/Tomcat 5.
The barcode is ok but the text code himself is rendered as a black rectangle.

How can solve this issue ?

has anyone been able to figure this out, i am running into the same problem? The output is fine when running on windows, but on linux the numbers appear as a black box.

Did you encounter the solution?
I try rewriting the class BcImage to setting the font manually, but i couldn't find a good solution.
