Is Connection available to Scriptlets?

Hi I would like to have the report connection available to my Scriptlet. At report init time, I need to do a query and save some data in memory for use later by the Scriptlet. Is there a way for me to get the Connection object from the report?

REPORT_CONNECTION is available at runtime if and only if you supplied a connection when you did the fill.

 

REPORT_DATASOURCE is always available, no matter what. It's type is dori.jasper.engine.JRDataSource

 

You should have no trouble accessing those from the Scriptlet using this.getParameterValue
