Subreports not showing up with iReport

Can any one help me on this..

 

I am using iReport to create a subreport that contains only a static text. Including this subreport in the master report doesn't seem to be working. The output shows just the contents of the master report and not those of the subreport.

 

- I am using iReport-1.1.0.

- For subreport properties, under Subreport(other) Tab, I have correctly specified the Subreport Expression as the absolute path to the SubReport.jasper file.

Thanks Yongzi, my subreport is working fine with a static field.

 

Now I want to include a query field in the subreport with a subreport query, how should I proceed to show it in the master report?

This could not be a problem, since subreport has its own datasource and you could therefore add its own query field or pass from the master report.
